Channel 4 have asked Heather Mills, to return back to the show as a contestant, after Rebecca Adlington, Olympic swimmer was injured during a training session.

Heather, who will replace Rebecca, was eliminated early on in the adrenaline infused show last year in 2015, after she had to borrow a man’s replacement foot, just hours before the live Jump show.

Now, Heather joins the other celebrities to compete in, what is advertised as:

The most scariest reality programme on television.

Heather said:

"I am overjoyed to be asked back by Channel 4 to join the contestants on The Jump, as I always felt it was unfinished business.
Finishing 2nd overall in the only event I got to compete in, The Skeleton, and having to jump wearing someone else’s foot, was pretty bad luck.
I never even got to compete in skiing!!!
I know I can do better, and I have been working with my prosthetist, Abdo Haider from The London Prosthetic Centre to create a foot that has more bounce in it, to try and match or at least get closer to a human foot “

Abdo worked closely with Heather to design her ski leg for her world record challenge in 2015 and has now created a brand new ski leg with further enhancements.

Heather, who holds the World Speed Ski record for the fastest disabled woman in the world, will now reclaim her place in the competition and battle it out with the remaining celebrities to be crowned King or Queen of the Austrian slopes on The Jump 2016.
