This year’s Viva Vegan festival was on the 18th of May in Birmingham and celebrated the 25th anniversary of Viva. Heather has been a long-standing patron of Viva working with Julliet Gellatley for many years, so was invited to give a speech at the event.
Ian Morris, the Chief Officer at Peterlee Town Council invited Heather to give an inspiring speech at the Inaugural Young Heroes Awards 2019. This event focussed on young people and their families in Peterlee and Durham on the 10th May 2019 at the Town Council at Shotton Hall.
Entrepreneurs’ Forum invited Heather to this year’s annual Forum, one of the biggest in the region focusing on how to develop businesses, to give a keynote speech on being an Inspiring Entrepreneur.

The biggest entrepreneurial event in the region if you want to grow your business, our entrepreneurs' conference saw 300 business leaders come together at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, for what is the highlight of our event calendar.
Heather was in Milan on the 7th of May speaking at Seeds&Chips, the leading food innovation summit in the world. Heather spoke on a panel with Maria Helena Semedo and Angel Leon in front of 300 people regarding the theme ‘Healthy and Sustainable Diets For All’. The session started approximately at 10.00, in “Future” conference hall. There was an audience with an introduction by Rajiv Shah, president of the Rockefeller Foundation.
Heather was invited by Janez Potocnik, chairman of FFA, Forum For Agriculture, 2019 to be a Keynote speaker in Brussels, Belgium - The Next Generation event on the 9th of April 2019. Heather’s 30 minute speech discussed VBites Foods, veganism and the future of plant based foods in the agriculture industry. The audience included people from the European Parliament, Council and Commission, Businesses, institutes and NGOs. This important event combined agriculture and environment, enabling open dialogue to create sustainable solutions.
Heather was on the panel discussion at the International Food and Drink Exhibition in London.
This panel discussion titled ‘The Role of Protein in Plant-Based Product Innovation’ covered the diverse market alongside Robert Woodall, Carole Bingley and Tiia Morsky. This exciting panel discussion took place between 1:30pm and 2:15 on the 17th of March 2019 and people asked questions about the future of plant-based foods.
Heather attended the Vegan Festival as a special guest in Eastbourne on the 25th January 2015, celebrating Veganuary and giving a speech about the varied projects she is working on. This free event had varied exhibitors, vegan food samples and beauty products for hundreds of people to learn more about veganism.
Leading the way forward as the innovation expo for the ultimate market place for restaurant and takeaway owners, The Restaurant and Takeaway show was held this year in London at the EcXel Centre.
The show comprised of panel debates, live cooking demonstrations, 350 exhibitors, keynote speeches and an area especially designated for networking. Heather, being one of the pioneering leaders of plant-based foods for the last 25 years was amongst a select number of individuals to deliver a seminar on Wednesday 26th Sept
Following the success of the inaugural Future of Agriculture Summit, The Financial Times, invited Heather to speak at their Global Food Systems summit on the 20th of November in London. The FT encourage conversation and the exchange of ideas with stakeholders and value chain partners from across the agriculture and food production ecosystem.

The Great British Business show is the UK’s biggest exhibition for anyone starting or growing a business, it came back again for another year. This year’s event took place on the 14TH and 15TH of November 2018 at the ExCeL London.
The show run by PRYSM group, was packed full of the very best speakers, features, innovations, education and opportunities in the business world. The event was dedicated to guiding startups, SMEs and large corporations on their business journey.
This year’s Vevolution, took place on 10th November 2018 at the British Film Festival on the Southbank in London, and it was bigger and better than ever! It comprised of motivational talks, panel discussions, and workshops from leading speakers within the plant-based movement.
The World CEO Forum 2018 was a gathering of the most influential business leaders invited from all over the world with a key focus on networking, facilitating business and of course having fun.
The forum, held this year on the World famous QE2, docked at Port Rashid in Dubai, encased all the latest news and trends from people with real-life experience and knowledge, along with a series of interviews with leaders from various industries.
REMAX held their annual convention on the 17th-19th October, 2018 at Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam.
This year was the 10th anniversary of the European convention and Remax choose the overarching theme "X Change” where they focused on building a connection between the history of the former stock exchange in the city of Amsterdam, their anniversary and most importantly about the Remax business itself.
The exclusive FASTFORWARDFORUM took place this year on the 12th - 14th of October 2018 at the Hotel Villa Belrose in Saint-Tropez, South of France.

This year, Plant Based Live took place on 8th & 9th September at ExCeL in London. It was packed with two days full of inspirational talks, cookery demos, and wonderful food.
Not only did VBites have a huge presence at the show, selling their new OMG burger to a never ending queue of hungry punters, who said it was the best plant-based burger they had ever tasted, but also Heather showcased her plant-based products from her award winning vegan food company, with a cookery demonstration on the Sunday in the Vegan Life Kitchen
Vegan Camp Out returned this August 2018 for another successful festival.
Vegan Camp Out, who are partnered with Viva is the UK’s largest vegan camp out, this year sporting an impressive line-up of speakers, activist workshops, yoga and fitness classes, plus a huge array of plant based food options throughout the 2 day festival.
Heather was invited by Jordan Martin the organiser, to open the festival with a keynote speech on Friday 18th September.
