Heather was drawn against Tamara Beckwith in this week's The Jump, where the two went head to head in the Parallel Slalom event. Tamara got off to a good start and was slightly ahead, but with every turn on the course Heather started clawing the gap back. The pair went over the line neck and neck and it needed a super slow motion replay to reveal Heather had not just closed the gap but got herself over the line ahead of Tamara and pipped her to the post.
Victory to Mills!
Securing victory means Heather avoids ’The Jump' and is safe from elimination for another week.

“Fantastic! It was a close race and I’m so thrilled to have won. I knew Tamara had gotten a better start and due to my wrist, which I broke in December, I was unable to get a powerful push off out of the gate. I was so pleased to have been able to close the gap and get ahead as we crossed the line.”
