Heather was invited as an honoured guest by Gregor Glanz to attend the annual Kristallzauber event that takes place in Seefeld, Austria. The event, which ran from 26th – 28th of January 2017, featured three days of fun-filled entertainment, helping to introduce new talent as well as a variety of performances from a plethora of stars, including Gregor Glanz, Jonny Logan, George McCrae, Carmen Geiss, Alfons Haider, Aneta Sablik, Farid, Lions Head and Nathan Trent.
Returning to Seefeld for its 7th time, Kristallzauber draws in hundreds with its enticement of fun, food and festivities against a backdrop of snow-covered mountains and quaint Austrian chalets.
Kristallzauber, German for 'crystal magic', was originally created by percussionist and entertainer, Gregor Glanz, who wanted to give something back to the people of Seefeld as a way of thanking them for their support over the years. Glanz personally funds the event each year along with the sponsors and makes no profit from it.
Gregor goes out of his way to bring the famous names to Seefeld, ensuring that the event is marked on the calendar as one not to miss.
The entertainment kicked off with Heather and other celebrity guests racing Ziesels (what can only be described as an unlikely cross between a mobility scooter and a quad bike) around the picturesque town of Seefeld on a specially designed circuit, allowing the public a bird's eye view of the action.
Celebrity guests were also invited to walk the red carpet, attend a spectacular open-air concert that offers free admission to the public, and also the legendary aftershow party at the beautiful Hotel Klosterbräu.
